These terms apply when you use simpitch.co.uk, create a SimPitch account or buy a membership. SimPitch is run by Aryan Marjani (“we”, “us”). Contact: contact@simpitch.co.uk. Please read them with the privacy notice, which explains how we handle your data.
Using the site
- You may read and use the site for your own information and personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Don’t misuse it: no attempts to break, overload or get round its security or paywall, no scraping or bulk downloading, no reselling or republishing members-only content, and nothing unlawful, abusive or misleading.
- The site links to other websites. We aren’t responsible for their content or availability.
Accounts
- An account is free. Sign in with your email address and a password, or with Google. Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself.
- Your account is for one person. Sharing your login or members-only content with others isn’t allowed.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close a paid account for a serious or repeated breach, we won’t refund the current month.
Paid plans
- Paid plans are for people aged 18 or over, or with a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
- Basic £4.99, Analyst £9.99 and Pro £14.99 per month, as described on the membership page. Prices include any VAT that applies.
- Payments are taken by Stripe. Plans renew automatically every month, on the date you first subscribed, at the price then in force, until you cancel.
- If a payment fails, Stripe will try again for a short time. If it still fails, your account moves back to Free until you update your card.
- We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before a price rise. You can cancel before it takes effect.
- We may change what a plan includes. If we remove a large part of what your plan offers, you can cancel and we’ll refund the unused part of the month.
Cancelling and refunds
- Cancel any time on your account page (“Manage billing or cancel”). You keep access until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
- 14-day guarantee: if you cancel within 14 days of first subscribing, email us and we’ll refund that first payment in full.
- After that, payments for months that have started aren’t refunded, except where the law says otherwise. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.
Content and intellectual property
- The analysis, charts, text, code and data on SimPitch belong to us or to the people we license them from. You may share links and short quotes with credit to SimPitch. You may not copy, republish or sell our content, or use it to train AI models, without our written permission.
- Code and data in Pro downloads are for your own learning and analysis unless their licence note says otherwise. Free tools and templates come with their own licence notes.
- Third-party data and images are used under their own licences, listed under “Sources and licences” on each page.
- Our analysis is opinion and statistics, not betting, financial or professional advice.
What you send us
When you send us an enquiry, a comment or, as an invited author, a draft, you confirm you have the right to share it. Authors keep the copyright in their drafts and give us permission to edit and publish them on SimPitch and its newsletter, with credit.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided as it is, and we can’t promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions. We aren’t liable for losses we couldn’t reasonably foresee, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Ending these terms
You can stop using SimPitch and delete your account at any time. If your account closes, access to members-only content ends with it.
Changes, general and law
- We may update these terms. We’ll email members about any important change before it applies, and you can cancel if you don’t agree.
- If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. We aren’t responsible for delays caused by events outside our control.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear disputes, though you can also bring a claim where you live in the UK.
